These are the memoirs of Ray H. Jenkins, a native of Tellico Plains, Tennessee. He tells the fascinating story of his law career, including his time as special counsel to the Senate Committee during the McCarthy Hearings. There is much of Jenkins' philosophy on politics, religion, marriage, and morals. A good read.
