As I read part of the first chapter aloud to my wife, including quotes from A. Hamilton, she & I were both struck with the thought that the campaign of the Federalists sounded VERRRRY MUCH like McCarthyism!!! However, since the Alien & Sedition Acts predate McCarthy by several hundred years
