A Kentuckian|By PK 171|I got this book and loved this book because it is the true story of a lawman from eastern Kentucky in the area of my birthplace. The writing is well-done, the vocabulary is upscale, and the whole account is exciting. It was especially interesting to me because the Kentucky described here was not much different from what I experienced|About the Author|
Phillip K. Epling obtained material he had long been searching for on the life of John Wright in the early 1970s. He is the author of The Baptist Triumph.

Excitement, sensitivity, love, and adventure abound in this legend of the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and Southwest Virginia.
